Drum Elective Videos!

As one trimester ends and another begins I wanted to share examples of pieces students learned through this past elective. We started from the basics and worked our way up to coordinate all the elements together. Please enjoy the musical result of their hard work!

The first video is from our Bucket Drumming unit. This cadence added split parts and extra "flashy" motions to mimic what many high school and collegiate drumlines add to their pieces.

The second video is from our boomwhacker unit. We took our Bucket Drum rhythms and technique to form chord patterns and learn color coded melodies. Enjoy Offenbach's "Can Can Theme"!
