Music Electives

Week of October 18th

We are already at the last two weeks of this trimester elective. How did that happen so fast?

I'm pleased with how each student has progressed and shown comfort in playing group songs. Everyone continues to explore their solo song, which has brought up good questions and problems to work through.

For next week, students will be performing group songs for some of the younger elementary classes.

Our Trimester 1 music elective is a twice-a-week ukulele class. The goal is to learn a variety of basic chords, strumming patterns, and a little music theory to set a foundation to inspire future learning. Ukulele is a fun and accessible instrument for anyone to play.
