Hello!
Welcome back to the BNS music blog. I'm excited to share what happens in music class as we play, dance, and listen.

Whether you are a long-time member of BNS or brand new, I'd like to briefly share my goals for what can be expected in music class.

​

I desire that each student can have fun exploring music, gain music literacy in reading, and learn to make their own music. Each class will achieve these goals in a way that is appropriate for their age. I make it a priority to give them instruments to play and space to create. It is always fun to see the ideas they come up with!

Throughout the year, there are opportunities to discover new music. However, this expands beyond the time inside music class! Parents, please share the music you enjoy with your children by listening together, whether in-person performances or online concerts. Having exposure to a variety of music will give them questions, excitement, and curiosity to launch their learning and creativity.
